Eye Complications Study Group (EASDec)
EASDec is a study group of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) with special responsibility for the study of the eye complications of diabetes.
Its aim is to promote the advancement of knowledge of all aspects of diabetic retinopathy, including epidemiology, pathology, pathophysiology, investigation and treatment through active collaboration between ophthalmologists and diabetologists.
The ultimate goal of the Group is to prevent the development of diabetic retinopathy and to search for the best treatment of this condition in diabetic patients.
IMPORTANT : Emails have now been sent to people who have submitted an abstract indicating accepted or rejected. If you think you should have received an email and have not then you should contact EASDec as soon as possible. The email also indicates poster or oral. See below for the latest draft version of the programme.

PRESENTATION OPTIONS
Papers and posters: all abstracts will be considered for the free paper sessions as well as for posters. If you would like to present as a poster only, please indicate so on the abstract form.ATTENDANCE AT CONGRESS FOR POSTER PRESENTERS
The first author or a co-author presenting the poster must be in attendance at the Congress during the designated poster session.
An award will be given to the best poster at the Conference.
